Jerry update

Just had the vet on the phone, she said she has been trying to get hold of her collegue all day, will try again tomorrow. She is keeping him in another 24 hours at least, and has taken him off the fluids now to see if he gets dehydrated again. If his bloods and urine are normal tomorrow he can come home again (not sure where we go from there though)

She said he was fed up being prodded and poked and had a bit of a Jerry fit in the stocks, so had to be sedated, but otherwise he seems ok in himself.

So it is just a case of waiting and seeing what they come up with next I suppose

Could she refer him to Rossdales for you? Hope it all works out for him.

Think she is hanging on till she has spoken to the vet in newmarket, but suppose if there is no improvement tomorrow she might end up refering him. I do have every faith in my vet, so know she will make sure everything is covered

Thanks, I do have a good feeling about him, he is a tough little horse.

I was panicing last week, but for some strange reason I dont feel so worried now, no idea why, as nothing has changed, just a feeling I suppose

(not that I believe in luck, just that I am jinxed when it comes to horses, ponies seem to be fine, so maybe I should forget my dreams and breed sec As instead)

Thankfully he is, I always insure one of mine, it was always Hector before as he was high risk, but when I bought Jerry I thought it was better to be safe than sorry.
