Just back from the vet. She was thoroughly examined (heart, breathing, tummy etc) and leg manipulated, but apart from a very slighly raised temperature nothing is showing up.
No reaction when leg manipulated, but is still limping on it.
Her tongue is more pink than usual but her gums are normal.
His opinion is that she is showing signs of pain but we can't find the source of the pain.
He gave her an anti inflammatory and an anti biotic jab and we have to take her back to the vet tomorrow.
He said to feed her which we did and she ate it, although not with her usual gusto.
no ticks recently (or ever so far) and hasn't been swimming for a week, so don't think it is Lymes disease, but will mention it tomorrow.
Thank you for all the vibes and good wishes. As you all know, it helps to know you have support.
