Hi all, have recently bought a Jfc Agri Helios solar light https://uk.jfcagri.com/en-ie/helios-4800lm-solar-floodlight-solar--03

I’m having issues with it not staying on despite the remote working. It turns on for 3 seconds no matter what button I press but goes off then. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this with them before? I know the solar light isn’t great at the moment with it being winter but I thought it would have even some power. Thanks for any help.

people are getting zero solar power as there just is no sun at all, so I'd expect it to be that.Solar just doesn't work in winter in the UK unless its a rare sunny day

Thank you, it actually came on when it got dark outside itself so I think it wasn’t dark enough. I think you’re right though that there’s not much power from the sun at the moment. I don’t know if these solar lights will work like I hoped for the depths of winter!

Mine are working. They were installed a month ago and are still charging up and working.
They are LED lights in 3 stables, tack room and the barn. I have them on for half an hour to an hour each morning and probably only about 10mins in the evening.
Should’ve said they’re not JFC ones though.
I was a bit dubious when they were installed but am impressed so far.

Oh that gives me hope, thank you! Even an hour of light would make an awful lot easier at the moment!
