Im just wondering if their heavy weight turnouts with a detachable neck come with nylon lining? Strange question i know but i have their combo turnout and its fab, kept my boy warm in the depths of winter but the neck rubbed the bottom of his mane out. My thinking is to get the same rug with a detachable neck so i can take it off over night or when he is in his stable and he can just wear it out in the field while he does his hippo impressions. The thing is ive been looking at them and some web sites say they are nylon lined and some cotton lined, ive found that for some reason the nylon lined keep my boy warmer so id rather that than add more or heavier rugs.
Any other recommendations for nylon lined rugs, he fits the JHL and Shires rugs so not sure if the Horseware Rambo or Rhino rugs will fit him. I have also been looking at Premier Equine rugs and wondered what they fit like.
Im normally pretty good and just know what want but im starting to wonder if there is to much choice when it comes to rug buying! :D

Thank you, i have the mw combo and the detactable neck one and oddly the combo is nylon lined and the detachable is cotton which makes me think the hw will be the same.
The hw combo is nylon lined and it still rubbed his mane but he did live in it 24/7 at points, maybe i need to wash the scurf off of the inside of the neck more often to stop it pulling at the mane.
Ive finally have a horse with a full lengh of mane and id rather not lose the bottom of it again plus id rather it didnt grows back more ginger than it did this time :D

I have a combo and it's nylon round neck and chest then cotton further back?

I've not had a JHL until recently (second hand and cheap!) I've always had amigos. They are a little larger round the chest but I love them and would thoroughly reccomend. Never rubbed her mane and come as detachable neck, all nylon lined.
