Job as a groom

My local riding school advertised on facebook for a part time groom, just wanted people to send in their CVs and a cover letter which I did. I haven't yet had an email back or a phonecall from them - I was just wondering how long you think I should give it before I assume they don't want me lol! I've spent the past 3 days staring at my phone waiting for it to ring but perhaps I am wasting my time! Has anyone else advertised for a groom before and roughly how long did you wait before calling people and requesting interviews?

Do you think?? Arghh what should I say, like ask if they've found someone or ask if they've had a chance to look at applicants yet? I dont want to look desperate (although i totally am haha) I feel like there is a fine line between looking desperate and looking keen?

Definitely give them a call and check they have received your application and say that you are very interested in the job. Stand out from the crowd! Good luck.
