I know Jock well! I would only buy off him now, wouldn't go to any other dealer tbh!
In 2005 we were recommended to go to him when I was looking for a show jumper, and we bought a mare off him who was an amazing horse for me, she jumped double clear at practically every show I took her too and went from BN to fox in 3 months. My mum stayed in touch with him and I ended up designing his website for him. (http://www.jmsporthorses.co.uk) and when my mare had an injury in june 2005, he lent me a horse to take to a 3 day BSJA show so I wouldn't miss out. This horse has never competed before at a show, but jumped double clear in every class (BN & Dsc) and then came 4th in the novice championship, not bad for a horse that jumped its first x pole 3 weeks before!

We also sold a 13.2hh pony for him that he bought from holland that year, it is now in the same home jumping very well bsja. We recently had a 148cm to sell for him and the new owners love it. We have recommended him to at least 12 people, all who have bought off him and are extremely pleased with their horses.

I can't recommend him highly enough, he has a very good eye for a horse, and all his horses seem to be straight and genuine- he has a guy over in holland who keeps an eye out at shows, so often they have been seen out competing before he buys them. He doesn't have many in at a time, as apparantly its quite hard to find the good ones out there- there's a lot of crap to sift through!

Anyway he is definately not 'dodgy', lol!

he is really good dealer.he let us have one on trail before we bought. he is very helpful. a friend of ours also bought a gelding from him this year and is really happy with it.

highly recommend him!!!!!!!!!!
