jockey wheels???

Hi all,
busy trying to get a new jockey wheel for my rice huntsman trailer......but there's more than one size?
does anyone have a rice trailer that would know if its 34mm or 44mm as i have no idea!

The size refers to the diameter of the tubular section that comes up through the drawbar, the clamp that tightens around the jockey wheel has a fair bit of adjustment in it, so you will probably find both would fit.

That said, IMO you would be better with the 44mm one, as 34mm, although it would be adequate, is usually for the smaller unbraked trailers. i always think that it's best to get something that will do the job & more, rather than just do the job. (you never know when you will have to use the jockey wheel with a load in).

ok thanks....i will have a good look at some. i did buy one and the shft was too big to fit through the whole so ill have to measure i think!
