Jod boots & chaps

My Gibbins 1/2 chaps and Mountain Horse jod boots have finally died a death after many years

I only use them for lessons (when I dont want to use my proper show boots) so they dont have to be amazing - but I do want some which last as long as these have!

Have tried looking for Gibbins chaps online but cant seem to find the ones I have now. And Mountain Horse wise, there's a few different types of jod boots from them nowadays!

Also, what do people make of the Ariat Glacier jod boots?

Can't say about the Glacier boots, specifically, but my feet have never been so happy since I changed from Mountain Horse boots to Ariats.

Yeah, I do love my Ariats but I save them for competitions only as they are pricey. Which ones do you have out of interest?

I've just got some Ariat endurance trainers & the matching half chaps.

Very comfortable & the chaps (xs) actually fit tightly & don't twizzle round which is great cos it drives me distracted when chaps don't stay still.

Could do with the ankle bit of the trainers being tighter, but I've got bony ankles & feet.
