Jodhphur boots

Was looking at Robinsons site for cheap jod boots for my 14 year old - size 11 feet! - and they have some but they have walking type soles. I though the whole point of jod boots was they had smooth soles?
Ones with tread wouldn't be safe, would they?

I was looking at Robinsons for jod boots today as well

I couldn't decide on a pair, and am a online shopping numpty so also wasn't sure which were PVC and which were leather

I've always had jod boots with tread. Didn't even think about it to be honest.

All mine had had a tread except for one pair that had a leather sole, they were my favs.

My favourite brand , up till a couple of weeks ago, were Harry Recife, but they have changes the design and the toe is much more pointed, so imho dont look so nice.

My little girl has chipmunks normaly, great if your daughter like coloured boots, but she just gt her first pair of black Toggi boots, and up to just seem really nice.

I got some lovely ones from Tesco! Infact they are so nice i have kept them nice and just use them for in hand showing, they are really comfy, when i was in tesco recently i tried to get another pair but they didnt have my size!!

Thanks for that, if tread is OK I will get them, hes a size 11 adult so there aren't many cheap boots for him.
