Jodhpur Boots.

(sorry to butt in post)
what about waterproof?for across field in the early morning?
(seen forcast?may get wellies out again)

ooh yes that would be a good idea too. I quite like the Mountain Rider Stable/jodhpur boots but are a bit too expensive for me. Does anyone elese use steel toes capped boots? I've never even thought about them before but i seem to be getting trampled a lot lately lol. Does anyone have the Tuffa "Trojan" protective jodhpur boots? i wouldnt mind a pair of those.

got e-mail about new robinsons catalogue out this week.maybe some in there.tis nice to actually hold them before you buy though.
have been in builders merchants on my travels and seen some steel-toe trainers, prob only do in man size.they would be useful for in yard.
(thinking aloud)

Mountain horse boots, whilst comfortable, do leak... alot! I only wear mine for riding, where i've found they're easy to wear and actually help your foot stay in the right position and still.
Other than that i like harry Hall botts and Toggi boots (I am a boot aholic). I mostly use my Toggi muck boots for general hacking etc.

For waterproof boots go for muckboots. Comfy, warm and dry.
