Can anybody recommend me some Jodpurs that last more than a few weeks? Ideally ones that aren't particularly expensive. I have tried Wessex and GS Equestrian ones, both cost between 15-20 pounds per pair, and I ordered 3 pairs each time so that I would have enough for daily wear, and they are in holes after 8 weeks.
I know they were cheap but I used to work in a riding school and Aldi Jods would last me a couple of years at least!

Thank you :)

Where are the holes mainly? Sometimes its to do with the mix of fibres, Spandex or Lycra in areas where friction is apparent, they break through the material and look like little hairs.

I found that more expensive jods last longer in general. I gave up on the really cheap ones but look for good ones in the sale. I'm a fan of Noble Equestrian but they are not in the UK anymore but there are bits of old stock around

I still go for lifestyle legacy, quite thick cotton, whenever I need new. But I don't like sticky seats or that cold thin synthetic scratchy material.

They are along the seams, they are a roomy fit so not too tight but i'm getting them on either the inside leg or outside of my leg

A little bit more pricey but I absolutely love Eqcouture - they are still going strong after a year and look like new!

I also really like the Shires Aubrion range and they quite affordable under £40 a pair on GS Equestrian website!

Heres a code for 10% off GS Equestrian Website https://referrals.influence.io/referral/OofiOC4dWsP
Thank you, I could have a look at Aubrion. I understand Wessex is also a shires branch so they could be the same? Thank you though I will look!

If you can stretch to £30 a pair the ECW the Warehouse NEO thermal tights are good, they do knee patch and full seat ones:

https://www.jodhpurs.uk/neo-winter-reflective-cozy-micro-fleece-lined-riding-tights-knee-patch

I wear the balance tights from here. They are more expensive but every so often they go on special offer. Oldest pair coming up to 2 years old wearing a couple of times a week for stables or yoga.

If they are lycra/spandex make sure you don't use fabric conditioner or detergent with this built in as it damages the fabric.

Apologies for asking on your thread OP.
I’ve looked at the full seat ones @jnb What is the sizing like on yours, please?
I'd say if you have had their summer version, go up a size from the size you have taken in them. Otherwise if you've not tried them, perhaps size up for the thermal ones?

I've got a nice pair from Decathlon but I had to try loads on to find a style I was happy with. I finally received my softshell breeches from Harry Hall yesterday and wore them for my lesson today and they were very comfortable. My only issue with them is they don't have a zipable pocket for my car key. I always wear a pair of Skins 3/4 compression leggings under my jodhpurs/ breeches for extra support (and they help eliminate VPL).
