Hi,

At 5'6 and 10.5stone I am far from a light weight! Hence, any jodphur wearing activities are avoided or done in with a very redface! (Jeans trackies and an over sized hoody for daily riding will suit me just fine!).

I am desperately trying to get rid of the extra baggage but in the mean time... can anyone recommend some flattering jodphurs??

It brings me tears everytime I put them on and look at myself!

Muchos Thanks (low fat snack for all who can help!)

Try fuller fillies the sizes do vary so better if you could try them on before buying. If you search the internet im sure you will find a stockist near to you. There is a website called 16plus rider, also worth a look.

Hope this helps..:)

I wouldn't imagine that at your size you need to go for Fuller Fillies :D, I mean, they have big sizes and all, but they don't actually look particularly flattering. I'm similar stats to you and I wear size 12 clothes  and 28 breeches or in case of the first link, size 30

I am 5ft2, and 11 stone, i wear a size 10-12 bottom, but my wait is 26-28 inch so i sometimes get a loose waist or a to tight waist.....doesnt help with 36f chest, as everything is tight on boobs and baggier on waist.

I find requisite jods from robinsons a lovely fit, specially if your not "big" but you are curvy!

(i must add, and i hide when i say this, for bigger chested woman katie prices range seem to fit very well)

I am a size 16 (Athletic not fat, used to play Rugby). I wear Harry Hall no problem.

As far as flattering goes get two tone ones with the dark colour on the outside and or make sure the back seams don't frame your delightful posterior.
