Jodphur Boots that have 'grip' in the snow?

I discovered today that my jodphur boots have absolutely no grip on snow - my mare very kindly walked pidgeon steps so that I could take it slowly, she only nudged me once to see if I would slide right to the bottom of the track :D

Can anyone recommend some boots I can ride in but still have grip on the snow?

I need to walk up a snowy track to get to the roads where I can hack out safely.

Anyway, they are lace up, or you can get zip ones, and they are for riding in sort of like a joddy boot but with a grippy sole.
Have a look on their website....so narked I can't remember, they keep your feet warm too!

I have the muck boot tyne sports (the riding ones) and have been astonished at how good they have been in the snowy icy conditions (despite having v little grip), they are just fantastic! I also have their tay sports and they are great in muddy and wet weather, but I have found the to be leathal in the ice!
 
hi try karrimor snow boots. they arent 'jodhpur boots' but are very good for snow/ice, warm and fur lined. they are around £35 so also very good price wise.

They sound cosy, are they safe to ride in. I don't plan to fall off, but would like to know that if I did, my foot wouldn't be 'stuck' in the stirrup.
 
Yes good tread, I am working on slopey, icy yard and they are excellent for grip. They also look tidy with half chaps.:)
