if im right, which im not sure, but i work in a tack shop so should be pretty accurate i'd say 26/28 depending on the make as they are all made either smaller or larger than each other, wish all companies would make every pair the exact same,
oh and its the inches round your waist that tells you your size if your inbetween your buggered lol
I don't know for definite, but i think if you measure your waist *in inches*, then subtract 6 inches off that, you have your jodhpur size. *It might not be correct, but it worked with me *
If they made ladies clothing sizes more standard I think we'd have less trouble!
The Johdpur size is just the size if your waist sorry to say! I don't wear hipster Johds but I understand you just by your normal size and they sit lower. Different makes cut differently through the bulgy bits so you might get away with a smaller size in one and a larger size in another. But the starting point is simply your waist size in inches.
I should say your natural waist - the bit under your ribs. Not the bit round the hips!
I'm a 10 on my top half and 12 on the bottom and I have 3 pairs of jods all in a size 28 which fit fine (though some are tighter than others). My hips are quite a bit bigger than my waist though.
I'm a 28 apparantly, although i could probably get away with a 26... half the jodphurs i saw looked almost like tracksuit bottoms... which was VERY confusing!
