Johdpurs/Breeches for the vertically challenged :)

Most breeches/johdpurs are either too long in teh leg or too long in the body for me, I am 5 foot 3 and no longer thin enough to fit in kids johdpurs

can anyone recommed anything?

Sorry no suggestions, but just to let you know that I suffer from Nora Batty legs on my jodphurs. Hidden by boots but ridiculous without!

im 5ft 3 and i have a pair of kyra k breeches....very comfy...but the velcro does up around my ankle

i am just about thin enough to fit in the biggest kids size but [and i dont mean this to sound as dodgy as it does!!] they arent deep enough around the crotch i find!! which makes things very uncomfy. plus my fat arse peeping out of jods is just not something people will want to see!! shame as kids ones are cheaper!

I bought some Shires Saddlehuggers casuals and I think they are great. I am 5.2 and they are perfect length on me and really comfortable to ride in. The casual style is not as unflattering as traditional jods/breeches. See http://www.shires-equestrian.co.uk/cgi-b.../14.0.82.1.34.1 for info.

I'm 5ft3 as well. For competition breeches I find French's ones are great (but I can't find them on the net

) For around the yard I buy jods and cut them off at the right length and tuck them into my socks!

I have some breeches that I turn up and put my socks over too.

Also about 5'3" and wear Mountain Horse Isolde breeches all the time. Just the right length, and although not brilliant, are not bad with just short boots too!
