John Masefield's REYNARD THE FOX - an urgent request

I am desperately seeking for anyone who taped any (or all) of a BBC Radio broadcast in 1984 of John Masefield's narrative poem "Reynard the Fox".

A two-part broadcast with the actor Ronald Pickup was not preserved in the BBC archive and even Mr Pickup does not have a copy!

I am currently preparing a new edition of Masefield's classic on fox-hunting (due for publication at the end of this year by Carcanet) and would be extremely keen to hear from anyone who can help. My email address is philerrington@hotmail.com

Thanks but I've got the book (in many different editions) and even got a microfilm of the original manuscript!

No, it's the BBC radio version I'm after and I suspect it's disappeared without a trace. The BBC can get excited about missing episodes of Dr Who, it seems - but not poetry programmes from the mid 1980s...

So please check those homemade tapes!
