John Whitaker grooming kit

You're kidding...? £70 for a relatively small grooming kit?!

I'm sure the brushes etc are good quality - but that is one heck of a price for something just because it has a famous name on it.

The bag does look a useful shape - but personally I'd far rather find the right shape bag and then put the items of my choice in it. And it would come up a heck of a lot cheaper than this!

Sorry - this just strikes me as brand marketing at its worst!

To be honest, the 'normal' brushes and grooming tools I've picked up over the years from countless tack shops, shows etc have lasted me years and scrub up my pony just as well.
And You could just look online for a handy bag :)
 
I've go a John Whittaker body brush and dandy brush. The dandy brush is nice but isn't anything amazing, I do like the body brush though.
I only bought the two brushes because I didn't need or want the full set.

Agree the bag looks nice but big ££££! If you're after a handy carry bag to keep it all together, TK Maxx is worth a look - they usually have a good selection of large makeup/overnight bags very similar to this. I have a brilliant one with a vintage horse print on it:D. it's vinyl/oilcloth so wipe-clean and has handy pockets outside and inside.
 
I have the brushes but not the bag, as I had the hanging one instead.. if you shop around you could find it cheaper..

I am sure you can buy the bag separate and the burshes :D I do love mine though..

i have the tail brush and the hoof and dont like them, dont lik the way they hold (if you understand what i mean :D
 
You can get the bag for about £22 on Ebay, if you really like it I'd suggest getting the bag and maybe filling it with other kit. You can buy these brushes on Ebay too seperatley if you want and would definitely work out cheaper than the set in the link.
