I've bought a full sized JW-4 Super Delux mexican grackle bridle off of ebay.
When I tried it on my warmblood it was a very tight fit with everything was on the last whole, it is particularly tight on the headpiece.

I guessed that the girl had sold it incorrectly sized, I contacted her quite a few times but she didn't respond to any of my emails.

In the end I bought a full sized JW browband (from a shop)which was about 2" longer than the original browband - but it's made the fit even worse!

Before I go out and buy a full sized bridle (from a shop), has anyone out there had any problems with fitting a Full sized JW bridle on a warmblood - (Just really to confirm that the girl sold me a cob and not a full!)

NB: This has really taught me a lesson for buying off of ebay, It hasn't been a bargain at all, infact I've ended up spending nearly enought for 2 JW bridles!

JW Bridles seem to come up quite big ... friend has a JW grakle on her WB (full) and it was hanging off her .

So i'd guess you have a cob unless your WB has a huge head ?

Thanks ISH_Lover!

No my girl hasn't got a particularly big head for a WB - Which is why I was shocked that my supposidly "full size" bridle was too small!!

I would guess it is a cob then .. as my old TB wore a Cob JW when he was a standard full usually !

Seller may have been given it as a gift etc and as it fitted her full then assumed it was a full??
They def don't come up small though
Sol ( my horsie in siggie ) fits into a full size and she is a stubben XF

I have a WBxTB and my full size john whitaker bridle is a bit on the big side, have had to puch extra holes in it, so I would think that you have been sold a cob size rather than a full!

Have you tried looking on JW website to see if it has measurements? Or I'm sure if you rang a saddlery they'd measure them and tell you the dimentions? (If they thought you were going to buy it anyway!)
