hi has anyone got any experiance of using this i thought it might be a good thing for my youngster who finds it hard to concentrate and throws his head really high and the other day he threw a stropp and reared if he cant get his head up like he does he shouldnt be able to rear i know it isnt a substitute for schooling it just might help

To be fair, on the description you have given that is (seen as I don't know your horse/pony personally) that's just what youngsters do, they don't concentrate for very long and there will be times when have there little out bursts, throw there heads about and sometimes a buck and rear in, doesn't mean you need to stap him/her down as soon as they do it.

I'd rather them do this to be honest so I'd know if there was something niggling them or if they'd had enough etc.

Of course these training aids have there uses, not saying that but from the sounds of what you've said in your post, considering your on about a youngster, personally I wouldn't be reaching out for training quite yet.
