Joined the other week and only received a membership card and absolutely nothing else. Is this normal? Will I get a rule book or any other literature?

Just looked on the web at the rule book and no way am I printing 290 pages to obtain a copy, surely my membership should include one!

Last year I joined and didnt get all the info i required for a few weeks after.

You wouldnt get this with BE would you

you should get a rule book, i don't think they print every year only when the rules change. i was a member for 4 years and got 2 rule books. you will get a showjumper mag every few months. if you want the monthly show schedule book it is extra charge of the top of my head i thik it was £24
 
Dont have a problem with only printing rule books when changes are made, that makes sense and keeps costs down.

God knows how many rules I may inadvertenly break whilst waiting for a copy!

Have to say BE are quick off the mark sending rule books out and they dont charge you extra for the magazine with schedules either!
 
Just drop them an email and they'll post you one, this happened to me last year as I only had an old copy, I was hoping to get one when I re-joined but just emailed them in the end. Came straight away!

Had worked out that schedules were on line so no need to spend any extra money there. May have to give them a call. Wanted to know I should get one before picking the phone up and making a prat of myself
 
Daughter joined about a month ago & fortunately got the cards, rule book, car sticker & stable plaque etc all together. The rule book is last years though, presumably there haven't been any changes?

Hiya, Just thought i'd let you know, they send you your cards first so you can get out and compete straight away. The other stuff will usually come within 10-14 days!
