Please can I have recommendations for joint care supplements to add to horse feed please.

I have an ex riding school pony, who has worked very hard and now is in semi retirement with me, and after a work out with walking and trotting he is looking little stiff, so wanted to get him on a joint supplement to help with any arthritis or stiffness

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Everyone will have their own favourite but found a big difference in my veteran on Equine Answers Premier Flex

I would give it a few months on a good balancer with around 1mg of organic selenium (aka selenium yeast or selplex) and see if there are any improvements about 4 to 5 months after starting on a full ration of that.

Thanks for all your replies..... I have started putting Cod Liver Oil in his feed as I was not too sure what to use but wanted to do something as soon as.... thanks for all the recommendations, I will have a google on all the recommendations and decide from there.

Thanks again all, very much appreciated :) x

I use JointAid Plus for my girl and if I ever forget to add it it shows I really think it's great stuff and not that pricey either I use less than half the recommended dose and it's great! You can really see a difference.

I bought mine from VioVet it was the cheapest please to get it. :)
