Anyone know the best Joint supplements for dog with arthritis. Have tried one or two with little to no success and the Metacam our vet prescribed also shows little benefit.

I am looking for 100% pure Glucosamine HCL and 100% pure MSM as well as Hyaluronic acid and Chondroitin supplements. Anyone know where these can be purchased in their purest form singly

I gave my elderly whippet Cortaflex. It worked within a few days. Without it, in the morning she could not get out of her bed without help. After 1 week, she walked around wagging her tail.

Cortaflex is made for horses, dogs, cats and humans.

I'm trying 'Joint Aid for Dogs', which has a bit of everyhting in it, at the moment and it seems to be helping. Nothing dramatic as she was only a little stiff anyway but a definate improvement in her comfort.

You could just use horse supplements and feed accordingly to weight or topspec do supplements for dogs, we use a few of them on our show dogs, I also reccomend "Missing Link) great stuff, we use it on our top bitch and every critque on her, always praises her condition, coat and body! Also Cortaflex do a dog version as well.

Hiya, i've tryed Naf five star superflex for my dog. It comes in a treat/tablet form and must taste ok cause my dog takes it like a biscuit! It's not too expensive either. I buy mine from the saddlers. I'm not sure about the levels of MSM etc though
