I have a 20yr old mare who is still going strong but does get a little stiff sometimes, especially if she has been standing in or when you first start working her which is understandable for her age.

She is sound and healthy but i was wondering if people have come across any joint supplements that have worked for them? I have had her on NAF Joint Supplement which has MSM and Glucosamine in it, which are supposed to be the key ingredients needed to help joints. I found it ok but certainly have not noticed a difference since i ran out of it about a week ago

So...has anyone found a joint supplement that really works?

Cider Vinegar is very beneficial for the oldies, also dosen't cost an arm and a leg if it dosen't work for your particular pony.

Any supplement to aid stiffness and mobility should have a mix of Glucosamine & Chronditin - the pair work in harmony. MSM has been a favourite for many yrs but has now been surpassed by G with C.

Riaflex is very up and coming and said to have even better results than Cortaflex in trials.
