My horse is almost recovered from a pedal bone fracture which involved the coffin joint. He has done 6 months box rest and is now having Irap treatment to give his joint the best chances of recovery and hopefully prevent DJD. So I stared to look at a joint supplement for him but there are just so amny out there? I think I probably need glucosamine to help maintain the health of his joint, I dont think i need anti-inflamatories like devil's claw and green lipped muscles yet. Please correct me if I'm wrong. He is only 6 years old so I am looking to help maintain his joints in the long-term. So which is the best?

Cosequin is the best one and the only one thats scientificaly proven but is rather pricey. My vet recomended it when my horse was diagnosed with DJD and so far so good. *touches wood*
