I used Cortaflex on my old mare. She had an old suspensory ligament injury and was slightly arthiritic. Cortaflex and gentle exercise definitely helped her.
I'm using NAF superflex ( the powder is apparently more effective than the liquid) and NAF devils relief! She has been on the superflex for years but recently I've found that she's a little stiff behind so added in the devils relief! Also magnetic boots are brilliant.
iv tried loads of these products, the expensive ones synquine, cosequine over 150 a tub and the chheper ones, iv just also started using the feedmark one...its brill and she will eat it, but id waite as apparently tommorow they are doing a speciall offer on the HA so im going to get a big tub of it
Blue Chip Dynamic, this has worked wonders on my 20 year old mare who was very stiff after being kicked on the hock about 5 years years ago. I tried most things but after 6 months on Dynamic she is very sound.
heya i use coraflex HA, buteless and a global herbs supplement called tendoneze and i have found they all have their part to play in keeping my dales pony running she is about 15 and had a lot of miledge. vets think she is doing great and see no reason why she cant hunt this season even after having numerous injerys that (touching wood) she has made a full 100% recovery.
anular ligament, hymatomas, tendons, cancerous tumor of the ovary removed, impailed stifle on a metal post (dog jumped out of bush) even from fractured shoulder that progressed to Osteomyelitis from a major kick.
i think she maby wouldnt have been here today without her supplements.
my vets and friends have a nick name for her
ROBO PONY - because she just regenerates tee hee
