I currently have my horse on glucosamine but i've heard a lot of people talk about cortaflex.
Im just wondering which one of them everyone finds the best?

Does anyone know of any other good supplements such as oils that work?

Ive kinda made my own supplement for my oldie, I used to use NAF superflex and it was great stuff but was working out too pricey when i lost my job. So I mix the equimins glucosamine and MSM 900grams, equal of turmeric and 300g of cinammon and 300g of monks pepper :) he gets a 15ml scoops in the morning and one at night in his feeds :) This mix lasts me around 3.5 months :) I buy the spices from local places and the monks pepper from the internet and all of the above to buy costs me about the same as a tub of superflex would be to buy per month.

He is also getting linseed which i think is helping him alot as well :)

I use green top Cortaflex as a maintenance supplement for my 16 year old showjumper turned hunter who had HA injections in one front fetlock joint in 2005. I will keep him on that until he shows any signs of stiffening or discomfort then I am planning to go to Vetroflex as I've heard really good things about it.
