Does anyone give their dog a joint supplement?
If so could you reccomend me a good one please.
We have a Labrador whos back legs are troubling him. Vets have given us some painkillers for him but he suggested we give him a joint supplement as well as they help to repair rather than stop pain, but there seem to be so many out there.

Henry has human tablets from Tesco, called joint care. They are glucosamine, omega three fish oil and chondroitin. He has one a day with his food.

Bear has been on Joint Aid for about 4 years now I think (I forget

My Mum's dog is Nupafeed Flex GLM (as is my Horse after the success she had with the Dog!!)

Personally I think different ones suit different dogs and different problems and it is a case of trying them until you find the right one. However the Nupafeed has done wonders for my Mum's dog, he is 12 and has only had to be retired due to deafness and a tendancy to bury his retrieves!!

My old gal has been on NAF Relief for about a year - huge improvement. Spoke to two vets, neither felt that any one particular make is better than any others...and to be honest, this is the only one I've tried for my girl - and it works so happy to stick with it.
