My 17yr old cob has arthritis in legs and is currently on blue chip dynamic and devil's relief. He seems ok on this but am wondering whether a different supplement would improve his stiffness.
Have seen that superflex gets good reviews. Does anybody use this on their horse?
Also could it be used with the devil's relief?
Thanks

If it's any help choosing, here's a table comparing some of the main joint supplements (although it's definitely NOT a comprehensive list and is obviously biased towards Nutrecare products!) - http://www.nutrecare.co.uk/company.asp?ID=79

Someone on here recommended this supplement to me yesterday - http://www.riaflex-equine.co.uk/product_riaflex_complete.htm - saying it has a better spec than Synequin, etc and is cheaper.

I'm presently using http://www.equimins-online.com/acat...mins_Flexijoint_Cartilage_Supplement_264.html for my 3 year old filly, but if you're interested in combining your joint supplement with Devil's Claw as well, they also do a liquid version of the powder that I use, but in a Devils Claw base - to provide further nutritional support for stiff joints. Here's the link to that one: http://www.equimins-online.com/acat...quimins_Flexijoint_Liquid_Supplement_265.html

I've used both equiflex by vetvits and NAF superflex. Tbh they both were useful, but equiflex is cheaper and with all my boys other supplements, that is always handy!
