Had the backman the other day and he fixed my new mare's pelvis which was tilted. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to feed her a joint supplement and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I won a tub of Top Spec joint supplement and will see how that does. I have used Devil's Claw and cortaflex in the past but not with this horse.

I use Extraflex HA with brilliant results on my horse that has spavin. www.feedmark.com
Have used Cortaflex and cortaflex HA but the extraflex has been better for my horse.
The HA seems to have been key to helping my horse.

Cortaflex was fab on my pony with clicky joints (which was dangerous as she used to "lose" her legs under her then bolt and buck, but it all but stopped on Cortaflex). It is expensive though. NAF 5* Superflex is meant to be very good but still expensive. Less expensive is Gold Label Glucosamine - have heard on here it is good so hopefully someone else will post about it for you

NAF 5* Superflex is good, but i've just been trying Goldlabel Glucosamine Ultimate and really rate it!I have used the ordinary Gold label glucosamine plus before and thought that was good but the 'ultimate' is new and contains HA, chrondroitin, msm etc aswell as what the 'Plus' contains!!
Maxavita pernamax is meant to be good too!

i use Mobifor at the minute but have used cortaflex and synequin before. Sasha has been having a trial drug of 5 star superflex vet, which was absolutely amazing. Just hope it gets the go ahead. Have heard good things about the 5star superflex

I use cod liver oil, apple cider vinegar & glucosymine gold label, i have to say the recent addition of the glucosymine has made the most difference, less clicking joints now

i keep my horse going on regular cortaflex, then when competing or working hard she gets cortaflex HA, more expensive but def notice the difference

I use Cortaflex - whilst going through a skint stage last year, I switched to Gold Label Glucosamine and noticed the deteroriation nearly immediately.........so was back on to Cortaflex pretty quick.

I use Premer Flex Plus (Equine Answers) and swear by it. It has added HA and Devils Claw. Ive tried just about every supplment going and saw results with this product that I didnt see from the others.

Its cheaper in comparsion too as well as next day delivery. The company is great to deal with.

Google Equine Answers as I dont know the website off the top of my head.....

Our ageing cob was put on Cortaflex last year having been retired from competition for 4 years, and at the grand old age of 17 was second at RIHS and qualified for HOYS - and until he had cortaflex he was really quite stiff and bone shakery. This year he has gone on loan to one of the disabled dressage riders and won his first BD dressage test last week with his new rider. I think Cortaflex is brilliant!!!! (pic of cob last year bottom right of my sig).
