Very sad news, through her books she and her sisters played a very big part in my childhood.

She was also a brave and resourceful woman who did some real good in the world.

RIP Josephine.

Gosh I can remember sneaking her books into my satchel at school and having a quiet read when I wasn't supposed to....... and being given various punishments for doing so! (YES it WAS worth it!!).

God rest her.

Another one who loved and still has many of the P-T books ....... Fantastic author and will surely be greatly missed

That's weird about a week ago something made me Google her and her sisters as wasn't sure how many of them were still alive. Another one that read all their books when younger. For me too it was nothing but horsey books the P-T sisters, Ruby Ferguson, My Friend Flicka etc. Wonderful times.
