I have not posted for a while on this forum.
I have a 10 year old selle francais called Joshua. He has always been very unconstant when ridden. Upset, tense at times and other times fine. He saw the chiropractor regularly. Lately it has been worse and I called in one vet and then another. After a hefty visit he has been diagnosed as having back problems and arthritis in both his hocks. The vet has told me that if I want to carry on working him in dressage he must be treated for his back (infiltrated?Eng) every 6 months and treated every year with Tildren.
I have taken the decision to semi retire him and so want to find the best solution possible.
What I would most like is to find a person who just wants a horse for hacking and light schooling (which vet says is fine) to either take him on completely on full loan or on part loan (in this case I would pay some of the livery fees).
I am having real problem finding a correct livery for him in northern france as turnout is useless.
I was wondering if anyone one this forum knows someone looking for a nice horse to take on or otherwise a good retirement place or where I can look for a person to take him on.
It would have to be to a good home only. I can transport to England.
