After yesterdays episode I wasn't really looking foarward to the scan much.
Vet was half hour late, so we decided to do some walking in hand first. He drove up and watched finish our walk, smiling, that helped loads.
He watched her walk again, this time on a circle, umming and ahhing, then the word 'perfect' came out
Doped and scanned her. I was told not expect the scan to show too much, as she has a big lesion and we cant expect healing only 4 weeks after surgery. So I went with the idea of as long as it's not worse.
Well we looked and looked I popped in, 'er theres no black' vet just said 'thats because it gone'
It's already filled in! No big black hole.
The neurectomy 'seems' to have worked SO FAR as she's sound or as my vet put it PERFECT!
The hole is gone. so now we have 2 more months of walking in hand building up to 2 half hour sessions, then another scan.
All in all, I couldn't be happier
He also sat me down and told me to stop driving myself mad, and not to listen to the 'bute and boxrest' people on the yard that have told me I'm evil for putting her through surgery.
He then looked menacingly at YO and said if they're not going to be supportive tell em shut up!
He's such a good vet.
