My cowdray was beautiful when I first got it, after 2 washes, about 2 sizes too small! Same with my Beaufort polo!

I now only wash Joules clothing on a cold setting and its ok.

Shame cowdray and beaufort are ruined though!

Yes!! all my stuff has shrunk, and it still keep getting smaller with every wash.
The same happens with tottie sweatshirts. I am a sizr 10 but buy a large in tottie stuff so i can wash it.......and tumble dry it!

I ordered a Cowdray, it came, fitted really well around the shoulders and body but was just TOO short for someone who's as tall as me.

Sent it back saying please make lengths for tall people.

Bought a canberra in a 10 and a 12 - as 10 fits for now. But once it's washed, sleeves will be too short.

And I'm a 14 in their fitted polo shirts (the beaufort ones) but once they shrink, they fit pretty well. This is a 14 on me - is tight to actually put on but not too tight once on And I'm normally a 10-12 on top

Their sizings are really really odd

my normal joules top (short sleeved beauford strip, pruce and crocodile) both shrank a bit since i 1st washed them and do it ever now and then, or i might be having growth spurts

well my first polo shrunk but actually fits better now, and my other polo wont shrink lol althoguh I'd rather like it too!

I got the cowdray delibratly in a size bigger as after two washes it fitted fine and now it's always washed on a cold temp and never tumble dried!

Has put me off Joules stuff a lot thou!

Oh well I agree with that, the sizes are very strange! I have a Peachy in a 10 (which is the size I actually am), a Cowdray in a 12 (which is the same size as the 10 Peachy...

) and a Saratoga in an 8! I do love their stuff though, I just hope mine don't shrink!

I have had loads of Joules stuff as a friend works for them so I get loads of cheap stuff. I don't bother with them anymore as all my jumpers and t shirts have shrunk and faded. I even had one top which I bought in the shop go all holey after one wash and joules refused to refund me. I couldnt wear it again as it was like tiny holes ALL over it.

.

Toggi stuff on the other hand washes fab, never shrinks, and is cheaper!!

all mine are fine so i must be doing something right! LOL

Always wash at 40 degrees on high spin occasionally tumble dried on low heat setting and they same size as when I got them. Got three jumpers and several tops and unless I have shrunk (very doubtful) they all fine!

Yup. I had one and by the time I washed it twice (and I dried on the radiator not in the tumbler) it was only just too big for my 9 year old daughter!!!

Very annoying as the sweatshirt wasn't cheap in the first place.

My Joules tops have shrunk, after the first one shrinking I now buy a size larger but it is annoying. Does anyone have the Joules long brown boots? Mine have fallen apart, the stitching has perished and the lining has just come out with my foot. AARRAAAGGGHHHH I have only just had them over a year and this is the first winter that I have actually used them in a field.

I think all of their stuff is a little on the pinched-side, size-wise. I am a 12 but all of the things I've had from them have been really tight across the shoulder or too short in the sleeves. Before the first wash!
