I finally got around to a ride at Studland Bay Trekking centre today. Absolutely brilliant! I was the only rider and the weather was kind. Rode a cute little honest cob called Dylan. He was forward polite and safe. Such a fun day. Loved it!!

Where are you @bagblagger? I’m at home in between Portsmouth and Chichester.

I don't think this is against the rules as I do not stand to benefit from it, but a friend of mine runs Westerlands Equestrian in Petworth and they do beach rides and hacks from 45 mins to 3 hours over the Downs so would recommend trying that if you would like to try somewhere new. I have been a few times to get my sea legs back and rode a grand little Connemara called Cesar, and a gorgeous ex-Grand Prix dressage horse called Bryn who has THE most divine trot I have ever sat!

Thank you! It’s on my list now!
