JP gold loose ring french snaffle

I would be really interested to know if there is any difference in these bits compared to a "normal " frenck link at £9.99. The JP's are price about the £25- £30 mark, does anyone have one , how does the horse go in it?.

I want to buy a new bit and fell upon these, they look nice, but TBH not sure why they are more money than a bog standard type.

JP's have curved mouth piece to reduce the nutcracker action. They come in SS or Gold (has a higher copper content).

I bought the stainless steel version which was only £15. I couldn't find out why the gold one was better, so I stuck to the silver one. I've only tried it once but I didn't think it made a huge difference. Saying that, whatever bit we try on this particular horse never makes a diference to his way of going!

I'll be keeping it try on others though, I still think it's a nice bit.
