They are quite thick - i don't like mine, think it makes my head look MASSIVE but...

Good hat, had them for years. Mine have always looked like the old GPA hat.

They are really comfy! I have had a couple and loved them.
Only thing I would say is I found the padding inside squashed down after a while making the hats too big eventually- I'd be sure to get a really snug fitting one (tight even!) if I bought another
