Having read a few threads on childhood horsey books I decided to google the one I loved so much: Timber, The story of a horsr.

1950?!!! 19 flipping 50 that was written in? Many MANY years before I was born?!!

So I want to track one down (estranged from parents so can't get my old copy)

Can anyone help? Do u even know it?

She wrote loads so I might have to revert to childhood...which will be a nice change as I usually devour horror books of the worst kind.

Wonder why some of the copies are so expensive?? I have a First Edition here in good condition, it was £1.75 from a charity shop last year
