Tia is 15.1hh, and loves to jump! She has her ears pricked all the time!

I am jumping her about 2ft/2ft3in (or however high those little blocks are, picture attached) Even then, we struggle a bit with that!

However, I feel she can go higher. What exercises do you do to help your horse jump higher?

(Ignore my position, we took off slightly early!)

Your takeoff place is fine, you need to be careful not to fold your body over your hands as you're collapsing onto her neck which is going to make it hard for her to balance. She also needs the freedom in her head and neck to jump cleanly so soften the hands forwards towards her mouth

(Top of those blocks are 65cm). Grids, 'jumping gymnastics'😂, bounces, jumping from different angles.
When I say jumping from different angles, I mean put a jump on the center line. Canter around on the outside track then turn in onto the center line. Also do it on other diagnols in different gaits (not in walk). Gradually make the jumps higher. Crosses, spreads, parallels, oxers ect aswell.

You say ignore your position but to help your horse jump at her best you really need to get your position spot on so you aren't hindering your horse and are able to help her as much as possible. You need to give forward with your hands and have your body weight in balance. I would say that the best thing you could do is get a good instructor to give you lessons as they will be able to show you exercises to improve you both so that you are able to start jumping higher.
