Seems to be official that Jumpcross is no more, with Wittering closing the course at the end of the month to develop the land.

Shame it lacked a lot of investment in the past few years as I used to love it and win pretty decent money!

What a shame, I loved it I was hoping when they said they were developing that they meant sortthe ground out so Jx could be done all year! Wishful thinking!

That's a shame as I always wanted to have a go but when i first heard about Bailey couldn't jump anymore.

It looked a nice safe fun idea.

Always seemed a bit mad - IMO showcross works, but I never fancied jumping showjumps on XC ground. I also had a thing that it wasn't a good idea for my horse to think that XC jumps might knock down with a tap.

I did it once as a one day event, so dressage, then ordinary SJ then jump cross as the XC. It was a bit boring that all the jumps looked the same!
