Im not sure at what height the jumps will be either (its not an issue hes got a pop on him!!)!! Its not me who is doing the actual jumpcross thing its my share horses owner, but we need to get the horse jumping courses and would like to know what sort of fences to practice??

Any advice would be great!!!!

Yeah; basically it's just a xc course with sj poles instead of solid fences. It's something i've never done as my new horse wouldn't be quick enough, and he's quite strong but the poles instead of solid fences wouldn't back him off enough. But it looks like really good fun! Jump cross hold clinics and lessons, if you look on their website, that would probably be the best practice.
