Jumping after winter

My horse has been kept in work but no jumping as yard was on lockdown with strangles so had 5 months off jumping in total

Had all saddle checked and ready to go out , do i take him and just do one class ? Or take him round a farm ride were can just go at his own pace ? Thoughts please

Provided he has jumped at home schooling and is fit and in work there shouldn’t be any harm in taking him out to a show and doing a class or two

So have you been jumping at home still? If so, I see absolutely no issue with going out and competing as usual, maybe just a level down from usual just to get back into the swing of things.
