Hey, advice needed so any opinions would be most helpful :)

My horse has managed to get an infection in her leg, it's mostly cleared up now, and she's finally come sound, but I'm worried that due to the infection breaking out in a couple places that although she's sound to hack out if she bangs her leg it's going to hurt.
So for jumping (not in the immediate future, want this cleared up first even if she is sound) I'm thinking of getting her some protective boots to cushion any impact in case of any soreness. Plus I'm thinking that boots would be good for cross country anyway.
Having had a look round the forums people seem to recommend N.E.W boots, Premier equine Kevlar sports boots and Equilibrium Tri-Zone All sports boots.

whatever I get has to be suitable to be worn on her hind legs although I'd probably get front legs as well for use XC. I've never really used competition boots before other than open fronted tendon boots for SJ on forelegs only.
Plus any thoughts on sizing - she's a 15.3hh IDxTB, but looks more TB than ID so pretty fine legs! (most places seem to have sizes, more advice on whether people have found them to be generous with the fit or if they have come up small)

Thanks for reading and any help you can give me

I really rate prolite boots, although theyre not on your list! I think they fit much better than NEW and are much better quality than the premier equine ones. They last for years and offer very good protection. I would go for medium closed tendon ones in front and medium event boots behind.

Thanks very much for your advice. I actually prefer them (in the pics online) to what I have seen of the other ones. they look very smart and they look to be similar on the outside to my jumping boots which seem to stay looking smart which is always good as I'd want to use them for competition.
Just been paid so might have to get some ordered this week :D
