My pony has always been very careful and textbook with her technique, but since going XC schooling twice (despite being uselessly un-brave), she seems to have gone a bit uncareful. Took her clear round jumping last night and we had a few poles - at home the only thing she'll ever touch is a little X (too busy looking for a bigger fence!), we only jumped 2'3 clear round and she usually jumps up to a metre oxers at home.. so it could be just fences too small but any ideas on getting her to remember how to jump 'properly' and be a bit more careful again? V poles?
On the upside, she was 10x less leery, didn't back of anything or run away from fillers which she did on her previous (and first!) outing which is good!
She usually jumps like this..
So she is definatly capable!
