As I have recently started jumping again (teeny little jumps but still) I am quite interested to know what sort of heights you all jump now.

im my riding lesson we uaually jump top of the white blocks which is around 3ft i think?

have jumped bigger than that but the pony i usually ride for jumping is only 14hh and can get very nervy with his jumping so its very rare

Dont really jump my horse as 1 i have no jumps :P and hes not really done much so want to get his flatwork better 1st
we jump logs and things out on hacks but most are under 1ft

I currently jump under 3ft but have jumped bigger and i lurrrve jumping!! Unfortunately my cob hasnt done alot but she is very willing considering..
When I buy a horse I will be looking to do SJ at a higher level.

Well Blossy was jumping up to 3'6, shes not jumping anymore as shes pregnant.

Archie has only just started but ive jumped 2'9 on him already and am aiming to be jumping him round a course of at least 1.10m by the end of the year and to be jumping around 1.20-1.30 at home.

Have jumped 3' on my girl, but have horrible nerves until I've gone over my first fence of the evening

Used to have to trot over a pole before slowly increasing height of jumps - I can now just about do 2' from starters (with a stiff drink inside me and a following wind and no fillers)!

Good luck with your jumping

I do not have a big enough school to jump reasonable courses, just a few jumps but try to jump above and over the heights I am jumping BSJA. Aiming for 1.10 by end of summer season so jumping 1.15-20 at home.

My jumping pony is currently lame (

) but I have been having lots of fun jumping Siggi this week. He is a very very cobby haflinger who doesn't really have a clue about jumping (or cantering, or flexing or anything except bucking really) - He tends to jog resentfully up the jumps, stop, stare in horror, then fall over them LOL.

However, I did manage to get him to canter properly over about 1'6 on Tuesday. Bless him, I was so proud up until the point where I looked round and my work colleague, riding a 13.2 pony was lying on his neck CRYING with laughter at Siggi's expression.

Generally though, in the past I've jumped up to about 4'6 ish but at the moment I am happiest at 2'6 to 2'9 as I had a bad fall a while ago and I'm slowly getting my confidence back up.

At home I don't jump her much but normally around 1m, we were out competing at the weekend round 75 and 85 as we haven't been out since February but after one more competition we will be jumping 85 and 95cm. I don't want to compete her much higher due to her navicular and arthritis.

I'm regularly jumping about 2'9" - 3' but I sometimes go for bigger fences - the highest I've done so far is 1.20m (4') but I can confidently jump up to about 3'6". Anymore than that and it starts to get a bit of a struggle (Silver's 14hh and it's not him that struggles but me!)

Hi Lizzie, how did you do at BCA? Nice day, wasn't it?
I'm currently aiming to jump 1m, out competing at up to that height but think that discovery height will be about as high as my current horse will ever go. He is only 14.3 and it will be the distances that get him before the heights.
We are jumping 90-1m at home, competing between 80 - 1m depending on venue/available classes.

Dont jump much at home tbh!! But when I do, Normally stuff at 90cm-1m as he will be Introing so doesnt need to do any bigger! If he is being cocky at home, wil occasionally put a bigger fence up, and recently have been jumping 1.15m on own and in combinations. But generally working on technique/distance and foward approach.

Havent jumped in donkeys ages , but used to compete at 1m 1m10 ... highest I have jumped was on a 14.2hh connemara pony I had , he sailed over 5ft , that was about 10 years ago lol .

Riding yo's grey mare at the minute and currently doing 60cm or so , as she gets a little carried away when jumping .

Started riding properly again in 2001 after 10 year almost-break. Discovered anything over 2'6 petrified me into a lump of jelly to my utter mortification, as previously evented at Intermediate!

Am now able to face about 3-3'6 on suitably able horse, and have no desire to go higher. Current baby just attaining around 2'6 and we're both comfortable there for now.

not sure what it is in feet but am eventing at novice level so about 1.10 and schooling about 1.20-1.25 at home.

jumped 1.35 in my lesson so i was ready for a 1.30 track at a competition. i just make sure im jumping 5-10 cm bigger than ive entered for in the next show.

On my horse I've only done up to 2ft 9 in competition, but he's 15hh, was only 4 and I hadn't competed or jumped in 6 years! It's the only show we've made it to so far! don't really have the space for more than 1 jump in out 7 x 15m school, have jumped him 4ft in there tho, but usually school over 3ft ish or 2ft 6 XC. Hopeing to get round a 3ft course this year. Highest I've ever done was 4ft 6 on a 13.2hh, must have been out of my mind!
