Hi,

Does anyone know of a really good instructor that would be able to come out and teach me (5 mins from the M25, junction 4, orpington turn off).....need some lessons!! I pay £30 an hour for my dressage instructor, so would ideally like someone who charges about the same, just in a vain attempt to stop spending so much!!

I have two horses that i need help with - one is doing pre-novice eventing, but has no style over show jumps so needs to improve his technique, and the other is very talented at sj (bought her to event, but may keep to just pure sj) but thinks she knows it all and doesnt need any help..."please just leave it to me mum, i know what im doing, dont bother telling me otherwise i will throw yet another tantrum and try and get you on the floor!!"

Anyone know a suitable trainer? Not fussed if an eventer or pure sj....as long as we get on well and improve!!

Thanks...

Hope it went ok for you today. I don't know if you have thought of Lucy Thompson, she doesn't tend to travel but does lessons at her place which must be about 15/20 mins from you.

Try Martine Weber - she does clinics for 7 Oaks RC. She's in Bidborough, near 7Oaks, but she always used to travel. Used to be £20 for lesson at hers. She used to event, very good for SJ lessons.

Will PM No.

Lisa Murphy is in the Kent area too...she specializes in SJ'ing. I think someone on here uses her quite regularly too !?

My instructor has mentioned Lucy, and i was thinking about asking her to give me a xc lesson on madam some point soon..... I would prefer an instructor who can come to me, as i cant drive the horsebox so can only go when my dad is around, and he works full time.

She was good at Duckhurst, just did the BN on a ticket - shame we are not registered because we would have come 2nd otherwise and won some money

didnt have any napping, even going in to the ring so was pleased to bits with her. couldnt really warm up either as it was like picadilly circus!! Did you go out anywhere?

Lucy is brilliant. She's really helped me with my boy.

Theres also John Smart and Donald Kear who are in the area who travel. John is in America alot nowadays though i think. Donald i don't personally get on with but some people really like him
