What size jumps are you jumping? Often it is far easier to learn your position when you jump bigger jumps, however it's a bit of a Catch22 in that you really need to be comfortable at smaller jumps before embarking on the larger ones.

I agree; go and have a few jumping lessons with a pro. You will be given homework to practice on and hopefully it will all come back to you again.

Yh, I will try organizing some more lessons, thnx. I am comfortably jumping 2ft 9inches, but I am now beginning 2 jump about 3ft 2inches. Is there anything I can do on my own, like set up the jumps in a different way??

You could try giving yourself a placing pole in front of the jump so you know exactly when the horse is going to take off and give yourself a bit more time to prepare.

Completely agree about lessons. My boy has been off for 2 months so I had lessons on a few schoolmasters - helped absolutely no end.

It's probably worth working on your 'light seat' so that you're comfortable with your balance
