I've got my stage two riding exam in 10 days and have been having terrible jumping lessons at college, I think my bottle has gone!

I want to do it, I know the horses can do it, but one I was riding the other day blasts it to the fence and one stride out goes dead? so end up jumping big and clumsily.
I think also with knowing the exam is coming up soon and only been jumping for two years I feel I have probably over faced myself?
Any ideas to increase my confidence welcome.

get yourself some 'Kalms' and take the night before and on the day - they do help - good luck - youll be fine!

Relax, you may not get that one horse in the exam - try not to think the worst! Even if you think things go badly in the exam you may still pass - depends how you cope with the horses you are given.
Just keep breathing & try to concentrate on keeping a steady rhythm, let the horse worry about the jump, at Stage 2 the jumps aren't too big are they?

Good luck!

No advice I'm afraid, unless its how to do the perfect dismount over the jump, but I wanted to wish you all the best for your exam

I'm sure it's last minute exam jitters rather than you've overfaced yourself.

Good luck, keep your head up, and kick on...
