Hi everyone - I'm new! Hoping someone can help me. I've got a new horse who is KWPN with high withers. I'm looking for a jumping saddle, if anyone can recommend one for me? I need a 17.5" due to my long legs and I think he is around a medium wide :)

Shires do a good range of reasonably good priced jumping saddles. You can send them back if they dont fit. Also ebay as if you buy of a buisness seller not a private seller again you can send back, and youll get a good deal.

Hi, I`ve got a KWPN with highish withers. When I first had her the withers were higher and I found that a stubben suited her and me esp as I have long legs too.

i also would go for a stubben, i've ridden in them for years and have found them to be very comfy. they also hold there price if every you need to sell them :D

I'd make sure you get a saddle fitter as there is more to saddles than width and length. For instance mine cannot have a stubben anywhere near him because he has a flat back and they have curved trees.

I have a bates elevation which I love. Again not ideal as it is cair which tends to rock on flat backs, but the panels fitted him.

So yes - get a saddler out to fit whatever saddle you get, even if you don't buy from them.
