jumping training

When she's off box rest :-S we usually ride 5-6 days, 4 schooling and arena work, 1 hacking and 1 jumping but usually after schooling if there is a jump I usually pop it. However I never jump more than 3/4 times a week as I think its too much and she gets sick of it and will start to play up

ride 4-6 times a week. jump once, if i'm competing i don't jump at home. during the week i school for 30-45min then go for a 30min hack with a few gallops round the stubble fields, weekend is usualy a fun 1-2 hours hack with a friend/s or a fun day messing about on ponies in the field eg. training for ghymkana games on a 16hh horse bareback  and either a show or jumping :)

Ride 6 days a week schooling and hacking. I do gridwork once a fortnight and try and jump a course once a week. (Whether that is out competing or practising.)

B is ridden by me 5 - 7 days a week,
S is ridden by me 2 -4 times a week but my friend is sharing him and rides him 3 - 5 times a week also.
L is being ridden very gently by a 13 y/o beginner 1 -3 times a week for 15 mins, never consecutive days but then she is 31!

Week days for me are before work 30 mins schooling, once a week each they may get a short hack with company after work. If the weather is particularly nice I may hack out on my own in a morning just for 30 min.

Weekends is usually hack one day jumping the other for both of them. If I am competing or at a clinic I do not jump at home that weekend. I try not to jump at home more than once or twice a week but not less than once a fortnight.

ive been alot less regimented since pregnancy, when i was still riding, it was whenever i felt well enough and was jumped whenever my rider was able

now he is ridden and jumped whenever my rider is around with the odd show here and there!
