jumped my mare yesterday both on lunge (yes! she actually lunged!!) and whilst riding!
heres a video.. do you think she has potential to be a showjumper?

shes just turned 5 so still learning her striding into the fence - im well aware that i got left behind over the first jump hahaha, she jumped it quite big and seemed confused that the jump was about 2 ft lower than it was when she jumped it on the lunge a minute before! hahaha

yes, she will jump. But I would do loads of grids and poles on the ground with flat work for her to gain confidence so that she doesn't get all worked up about a jump, put the work in and give it time and you'll have a super fun horse!!!
 
only problem is the school is quite small :( i will definitely start putting a placing pole out to help her and will try putting a grid out if there's enough space... if i put a pole 3 human strides infront of the jump that will help her take off in the right place, right? :P
im not very good with jumping ive always been a dressage person, until i got her, now my mind has totally changed!
